Summiting4Hope

Summiting4Hope (S4H) is the social arm of Bohemian Adventures LLP. It was founded in the year 2013 soon after the floods that devastated the state of Uttarakhand in June of that year. The initial aim of S4H was to rehabilitate the people of Uttarakhand who had lost their property and livelihood during the June 2013 floods. The destruction caused by the floods, all too evident from the scores of media images that flashed on news channels, had left a trail of broken homes – literally.

Since then we have undertaken several other projects which have touched our hearts. Since S4H is not an NGO and simply our social arm we have over the years tied up with various NGOs to actively participate in and raise funds for specific projects.

India’s First Inclusive Climb to Kilimanjaro

Summiting4Hope (S4H) and Adventures Beyond Barriers Foundation (ABBF) jointly organised India’s 1st Inclusive Climb to Mt. Kilimanjaro in Tanzania, from September 8-14, 2018. Participants included three blind climbers (two from India and one from Israel) and 10 able-bodied individuals (from India and Israel).

This expedition was led by our very own Anusha Subramanian. Not only was she one of the lead guides on the climb but also the brains behind the entire endeavor. She was also the sole fundraiser for this entire project.
